The TIB Portal [1] provides you a central search entry for technical and scientific information.

Following your search, as a registered TIB customer [2] you can, subject to charges [3], order the required literature and have them send to anywhere in the world.

As a registered TIB customer [2], start your search with the central search entry on the the TIB Portal [1] and order directly, subject to charges [3], the required literature.

Order without Search

If you would like to order documents without having to search for them yourself, use the TIB order form [4].

Full Service

Literature that are not available at TIB can be ordered via the TIB's Full Service [5].

Direct Access to Electronic Full Texts

The TIB offers direct access [6] to electronic full texts free of charge including open access publications and national licences as well as fee-based access (Pay-per-view)

Customer Base

Regardless of your location, you can use TIB Document Delivery when you need literature for study purposes, research and teaching.

To order at TIB Document Delivery, you must first register as a customer [7].

Prices

The prices of TIB Document Delivery depend on a number of criteria. These include:

Mode of shipment
Standard or express orders
Licence fees or royalties to cover copyright claims
The customer's place of residence

TIB und UB Hannover joined

"GetInfo" becomes "TIB Document Delivery"

In January 2016 the German National Library of Science and Technology (TIB) and Leibniz Universität Hannover University Library (UB) merged to become the foundation German National Library of Science and Technology (TIB) – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology and University Library.

As a part of it "GetInfo" was renamed in "TIB Document Delivery" and reworked. In the TIB Portal [12], you can search as usual leading databases, publishing services and library catalogues and you have access to technical and scientific information on architecture, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, physics and engineering. Following your search, as a registered TIB customer you can order printed copies and/or have direct access to electronic full texts.
