TUM Workbench is an instance of eWorkbench, an open source software for integrated project management and data storage. The web-based platform offers functions for creating electronic lab notebooks and data management plans. Research data can be uploaded, structured, shared and manually annotated with metadata.

Software & Hosting

The TUM Workbench is based on the open source software eWorkbench, which is available via GitHub. It is developed by the TUM University Library in close cooperation with TUM researchers.

The TUM Workbench, our university owned platform, is hosted on servers of the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ). Back-up systems ensure long-term archiving of data and protection from data loss.
