Reference Management

Typing up references is a thing of the past! Reference management programmes help you to keep track of large quantities of literature and make it easier for you to quote correctly and create reference lists.

Campus Licences

The TUM offers its students and staff members free campus licences for the two prevalent programmes:

  • Citavi [1]
  • EndNote [2]
  • Zotero [3]

Which reference management programme is the right one for me?

Our software comparison guide [4] provides an overview of major reference management programmes. Included are commercial as well as free programmes for Windows, Mac and Linux.

The guide is published under a Creative Commons Licence.
