Scanning

The TUM University Library offers you free scanning facilities in its branch libraries. The following scanners are available:

Microfilm Scanner

At our Branch Library Main Campus, we provide you a microform scanner. Its usage is free of charge. The device enables you to create scans from microfiches or microfilm rolls and to save the files in TIFF, PDF or JPG format on USB stick.

After arranging an appointment, you can make use of the scanner under the guidance our Document Delivery & Digitisation Team.

Please observe the existing copyright law [12] when using the scanner! The lawfully permitted uses for teaching, science and institutions are regulated in the subchapter §§ 60a-60h UrhG [13].
