Anfahrt

By public transport:
From Munich Central Station: Take the S-Bahn (all lines) to Marienplatz, continue by subway (line U6) to Garching, stop "Forschungszentrum", exit in the rear direction. The library is located in the mathematics and informatics faculty building at the end of the lobby on the left. For further information on public transport in the greater Munich area, please consult the MVV passenger information service.

By car:
Coming from the south (e. g. from Munich) or from the north (e. g. airport), take the A9 autobahn to the Garching Nord exit (exit 70), then drive in the direction of the Garching research institutes across the junction Freisinger Landstrasse B11 and into Anna-Boyksen-Straße. Parking spaces are available on the left-hand side at the mathematics and informatics faculty building. The library is located at the western end of the faculty building.

Barrierefreiheit

The branch library is located in the building section 03 in the rear part of the faculty building and stretches over three floors. Except for the western entrance at the rear, all doorways leading into the building are barrier-free. The library itself provides a wheelchair accessible elevator.

Access via the Northern or Eastern Entrance, Boltzmannstrasse 3
Via the northern or eastern entrance, you will reach the library entrance through the lobby at the end of the faculty building on the left.

Access via the Southern Entrance, Parking Lot
If you use the parking lot behind the faculty building, you will reach the library via the southern entrance. Please follow the path to the right around the library building to a ramp at the southern entrance which leads you into the faculty building. The entrance to the library is on the left. The nearest entrance to the parking lot, the western entrance, is only accessible via steps.
