TUM eLabFTW
What is TUM eLabFTW?
TUM eLabFTW is an ELN designed for modern, intuitive research documentation at TUM. It enables researchers to collaborate both internally and with external partners by sharing lab entries and resources. With timestamping and digital signature features, the tool ensures tamper-proof and traceable documentation. A granular permissions system allows flexible assignment of read and write access. The TUM instance of this open source tool runs as a central web service, ensuring high availability and a secure environment across various devices.
To document the collected data in a structured way and enrich it with metadata, we recommend using the TUM DataTagger.
Usage Restriction
TUM eLabFTW must not be used to document sensitive personal data. If you need to store such data, please contact eln@ub.tum.de for guidance.
