Opening Hours on Assumption Day

Study desks and bookshelves in the Branch Library Weihenstephan

On Assumption Day, 15 August 2026, the branch libraries at the Main Campus, Mathematics & Informatics, and Weihenstephan will be open during their regular hours. All other branch libraries and the First Level Hotline will be closed. Please check the opening hours of our locations here.

Publication on Thomas Mann’s Political Engagement

Book titled “Thomas Mann – In der Brandlandschaft der Demokratie” standing upright on concrete steps outside a building, with a portrait on the cover and sunlight casting shadows.

The Open Access publication “Thomas Mann – In der Brandlandschaft der Demokratie” will be released by TUM.University Press on 17 July 2026, marking the conclusion of an interdisciplinary TUM project. A book launch for the new volume will take place on 20 July 2026.
