The TUM honours its alumnus and Nobel Prize winner Prof. Dr. Joachim Frank with the new edition of his dissertation "Investigations of electron microscopic images of high resolution with image difference and reconstruction methods", published in 1970 at the Technical University of Munich.
It was a great pleasure that Professor Frank found the time last Friday afternoon to sign some copies of the new edition of his dissertation in the university library. The presentation of the TUM Distinguished Affiliated Professorship honorary award took the Nobel Laureate, who lives and researches in the USA, back to his old place of work.
