As of Monday, 27 November 2017, you can use lockers in front of the Branch Library Main Campus again for two weeks free of charge. Keys are available at the circulation desk by presenting of your library card.

Increased Activity and Noise

Filming in the Branch Library Main Campus

Action! On Monday, 30 October 2017, filming takes place for a TUM web series. One of the locations is the Branch Library Main Campus. Therefore, increased activity and noise in the reading room can occur for several hours on this day.

The series is commissioned by the TUM Board of Management and is also the first co-production between the Technical University of Munich and the University for Television and Film Munich.

Replacement of the floor covering

Main Campus: Special Open Hours in November

In the main building, floor coverings are being renewed in the corridors (EC and 1st floor) and in the foyer in front of the Branch Library Main Campus. As a result, we have to remain closed on three consecutive weekends in November, Friday through Sunday.

Update:
Due to delays announced at short notice, the library must also close at 8.00 p.m. on three additional weekdays.

The following changed opening hours apply:

Mon 13 November 2017	8.00 a.m. – 8.00 p.m.
Tue 14 November 2017	8.00 a.m. – 24.00 p.m.
Wed – Thurs 15 – 16 November 2017	8.00 a.m. – 8.00 p.m.

Fri – Sun 24 – 26 November 2017	closed

During the construction work, our eight other branch libraries will be available to you during the usual opening hours.

Life Sciences 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

All other branch libraries are closed on public holidays.

Political Science Database

Political Science Complete – test access until 31 March 2018

The University Library currently offers a campus-wide test access to the Political Science Complete. The platform is an international database on political theory, comparative political science, international relations, law and legislation, humanitarian issues and globalisation.

It offers access to more than 2,900 academic journals and full texts from 540 journals, e-books and 36,000 conference writings.

Online Access
The database is accessible campus-wide until 31 March 2018 – Log-in with your TUM ID via eAccess or via Shibboleth Login (select "German Higher Education and Research" in the pull-down menu and then "Technische Universität München").
