New platform for SpringerLink

On 31 October 2012, SpringerLink will migrate to a new platform. During the migration some services could temporarily be out of order.

Please note: Your individual profile will not be moved automatically to the new platform. Please make sure to download your search histories and favorite lists before the migration starts.

EndNote - version X6 now available

The new version is available: Download EndNote version X6, the reference management programme, which the University Library provides students and employees of TUM within the frame of a campus licence. Please find & download installation files for Windows and MAC.

Interested in EndNote and Citavi workshops? Introductory Courses and Reference Management Drop-in Sessions are offered by the University Library. Ask us - we will help!

Open House Day in Garching: October 27, 2012

Many research facilities and TUM faculties will open their doors at the Open House Day on October 27, 2012 from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. on the campus Garching. The University Library will also take part: Visit us at our information booth in the Mechanical Engineering building or come to our branch libraries Chemistry (10 a.m. – 3 p.m) or Mathematics & Informatics (10 a.m. – 8 p.m.).

Conversion of Lockers at the Branch Library Life Sciences

Due to the conversion of lockers, the cloak room at the Branch Library Life Sciences in Weihenstephan will be closed from September 24 - 26, 2012.

Starting Thursday, September 27, we offer the new service to rent lockers for the duration of 2 weeks free of charge. Locker keys are available at the circulation desk. Please bring your library card. Further information

Elsevier Summer Release

Due to a summer releases Elsevier journals and ebooks (ScienceDirect) will not be available for approx. 18 hours during the upcoming weekend (25.-26.8.2012).
