Räumlichkeiten in der Teilbibliothek Stammgelände

Zugang zu Carrels und Lesesaal im 2. OG verlegt bzw. zeitweise gesperrt

Leseplätze in der Teilbibliothek Stammgelände mit Carrels im Hintergrund

Der Zugang zum Stillen Lesesaal und zu den Carrels im 2. OG der Teilbibliothek Stammgelände ist an nachfolgenden Tagen nicht möglich.

Zugang gesperrt:
Mittwoch, 9. September bis
einschließlich Freitag, 11. September 2015

Im Anschluss ist der Zugang zu diesem Bereich aufgrund von Bauarbeiten nur von außerhalb der Bibliothek über den Flur im 2. OG möglich.

Zugang verlegt:
Samstag, 12. September bis voraussichtlich Samstag, 31. Oktober 2015

Alle weiteren Bereiche der Teilbibliothek Stammgelände sind regulär geöffnet.

Update Lesesaalumbau

40 neue Leseplätze entstehen im Stammgelände

Nachdem es in den vergangenen Monaten in punkto Bauarbeiten in der Teilbibliothek Stammgelände ruhig geworden war, bauen wir jetzt für Sie weiter. Wir erweitern den stillen Lesesaal im 2. OG und schaffen dort 40 neue Leseplätze. Die Bauarbeiten dauern voraussichtlich vom 12.09. bis zum 31.10.2015.

Der Zugang zum stillen Lesesaal und zu den Carrels ist während der Bauarbeiten nur von außerhalb der Bibliothek über den Flur im 2.OG möglich. Es ist mit Lärmbelästigungen zu rechnen.

Hinter den Kulissen sind wir dabei, selten genutzte Literatur aus dem Lesesaal ins Kellermagazin zu verlagern, damit wir weitere Regale im 2. OG abbauen und durch neue Arbeitsplätze ersetzen können.

Test our new search platform

OPACplus - search for articles and books at the same time

In addition to our traditional OPAC, we are now offering a new search engine. With OPACplus you can search for articles and books simultaneously.

The retrieval is conducted with a powerful search engine and is based on the discovery service Primo. Integrated are all OPAC data as well as e-books, e-journals and databases licensed by the TUM University Library and articles contained therein.

OPACplus is still in the test phase. That's why we are interested to hear about your impressions and search experiences. If you want to, you are welcome to send us a brief feedback.

Please update bookmarks

Standards Portal has been moved

Our Standards Portal has been moved and presents itself now in a new design. As you are used to, it provides you search options for national and international standards as well as other technical rules. Full text access is possible for DIN Standards, VDI Guidelines and DIN VDE Standards.

If you are using bookmarks, please make sure to update them. The Standards Portal is now available under https://tum.eresearchcenter.eu/.

Study whenever and wherever you want

Independent Learning with video2Brain

All LaTex or CAD courses fully booked? Dates not suitable? Then study independently and at your own pace with video trainings from video2brain.

The TUM has licensed this online training platform with 64,000 tutorials, 5600 training hours and 1300 courses on software and design tools, soft skills, office applications and more for all TUM members.

Update March 2017
Video2brain was integrated in the learning platform Lynda. The joint platform offers now around 5,700 English and 1,900 German training tutorials.

Update December 2019
The licence for Lynda.com (formerly video2brain) expired at the end of December 2019. The platform is currently not available at TUM.
