On the public holiday, Thursday, 1 May 2025, our Branch Libraries Main Campus, Mathematics & Informatics, and Weihenstephan will be open:

Main Campus: 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Mathematics & Informatics: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Life Sciences: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

All other branch libraries and the First Level Hotline are closed on the public holiday.

Coffee Lecture on the TUM DataTagger

Join us online, ask your questions, and get answers right away: Get to know the TUM DataTagger in our upcoming Coffee Lecture on 29 April 2025. This new web-based tool developed at TUM allows you to easily upload, organize, version, share, and annotate your research data with metadata.

The session will start with a brief overview of the tool, covering key features, common use cases, and planned future developments. The main focus will then shift to an open exchange – 40 minutes are reserved for questions, feedback, and discussion.

More space, more possibilities: The first floor of the Branch Library Mathematics & Informatics now offers additional study spaces, group rooms, and – new this semester – Webinar Carrels. Whether you’re working quietly on your own, collaborating in a group, or joining a webinar – there’s a suitable space for every learning situation. The entire area have been fully renovated and newly equipped. It is now accessible through the library, and most rooms can be reserved online.

Webinar Carrels – Speak freely
Online lectures, video conference presentations, or remote job interviews? Need to actively participate in a webinar while studying in the library – and actually be able to speak out loud? Our twelve soundproofed Webinar Carrels provide the perfect setting. TUM students can reserve them starting 15 April 2025.

Group Study Rooms – Teamwork in Action
Looking for a space to brainstorm, present, or study as a team? Our group study rooms for three or more people can be easily booked online. They're are available in seven branch libraries – including two new rooms in the freshly renovated study area on the first floor of the Branch Library Mathematics & Informatics.

Take advantage of the Easter holidays to study in our branch libraries! From Good Friday, 18 April 2025, to Easter Monday, 21 April 2025, three of our libraries will be open for you. Borrowing and returning books is also possible there.
