International Newspapers

Would you like to read international newspapers online? Then make use of the Library PressDisplay platform with access to 2,000 international newspapers and magazines from over 100 countries in more than 60 languages. Here you can, for example, read issues from the last 60 days of Le Monde, The Guardian, and Neue Zürcher Zeitung.

Our licence for Library PressDisplay is expired in December 2015.

Since yesterday, 20 November, the university libraries in Bavaria have a joint website:
http://unibibliotheken-bayern.de.

The new platform went online during the Bavarian Library Day 2014 in Rosenheim. The website wants to provide information on the university libraries' role in the academic and research community. It is aimed at academics, students, political decisionmakers, the press and the general public interested in science.

Who knows exactly, after all, what university libraries are doing? A lot of people are unaware that a modern academic library offers more than just books. Therefore, we wish to address the information deficit with are new joint website providing information on topics such as information literacy, publishing service, libraries as learning places, open access and digitisation.

Relocation of Journals

Relocation of Journals
19.11.2014 - mid-December 2014

In the Branch Library Main Campus, we are relocating back volumes of architecture, art and spatial planning journals up to and including the publication year 2003. The volumes will be moved from the reading room to our closed-access areas. In the future, you will be able to order these volumes via the OPAC and check them out. During the relocation period, it is possible that single volumes are temporarily not available.
