Irregular Opening Hours 16/12/2014
Branch Libraries Renewable Resources and Chemistry closed
Due to an internal event on Tuesday, 16 December 2014 irregular opening hours apply in our branch libraries:
Branch Library Chemistry
will already close at 12.00 noon. The study area and the group working rooms in the basement will be closed all day.
Branch Library Renewable Resources
in Straubing will be closed all day.
All other branch libraries will be open regularly.
Please note also:
- Cash payment of overdue fees is only possible until 12.00 noon.
- Pick-up of poster prints and LRZ manuals at the Branch Library Main Campus is also only possible until 12.00 noon.

More Space to Study
New Study Areas on the Main Campus
We are aiming to improve and expand step-by-step our range of study areas. In December, we made a good step forward: We were able to set up 40 additional study places at the Branch Library Main Campus. This gives the reading room a capacity of 500 places in total.
In upcoming months, we will continue to develop the library facilities further in this direction. A special focus will be put on power supply for laptops, lighting and air conditioning.

Annual IT System Maintenance
Limited Library Service on 15.12.2014 and 29.12.2014
Due to the annual IT system maintenance our library services will be limited in all branch libraries on Monday, December 15, 2014 and Monday, December 29, 2014 presumably until 12.00 noon:
- no Online Catalogue OPAC
- no book orders
- no lending services
- no interlibrary loan
- no documenTUM
Book returns will be possible. The branch libraries' opening hours are not affected.
