At the Presentation Lab, TUM members can prepare for presentations. The room in the Branch Library Main Campus is equipped with comprehensive presentation technology, allowing you to record yourself and analyze your presentation style.

Online Reservation

TUM students and staff can easily book the Presentation Lab online:

Log in to the reservation system with your TUM ID
Select a time slot and submit your booking
Receive a booking confirmation via email

Reserve the Presentation Lab

Check-in

Please check in at the branch library for every online reservation:

Scan the QR code from your confirmation email at the check-in station.
A separate check-in is required for each time slot, even for back-to-back bookings.
Check-in must be completed within 30 minutes (for study carrels: within 48 hours).
Reservations will be automatically canceled if you do not check in on time.

Terms and Conditions

Who can reserve the Presentation Lab?

TUM students and TUM staff.
Reservations may not be transferred or made on behalf of others.
Use is strictly limited to practicing presentations.

How to reserve

Reserve online via the reservation system.
Log in with TUM ID.
Book up to 2 months in advance – same-day bookings are also possible.

Reservation limits

Booking quota: 15 reservations per month – multiple bookings per day are allowed.
Maximum booking duration: 4 hours per reservation.

When does my reservation expire?

After 30 minutes, if you do not show up or fail to check in.
If you are absent for more than 60 minutes.
Expired reservations will not be refunded to your booking quota.

Additional rules

Drinks are allowed in tightly sealed containers.
No food or alcohol allowed.
The University Library's House Rules apply.

Equipment & Room Key

Please come to the circulation desk.

Upon presentation of your booking confirmation and your TUM Card (StudentCard or PersonalCard), you will receive the room key and a case with technical equipment. Additionally, SD cards can be borrowed for 14 days. The key, equipment case, and SD cards will be checked out to your library account.

Please return the key and equipment case to the circulation desk at the end of your reserved time slot. If you have booked the room for two consecutive days, you must return the key and case in between – keeping the key overnight is not permitted.
