All our branch libraries are re-opened. We are now back with our loan services: Starting 2 June, you can again borrow and return literature, apply for a new library card or renew it. Interlibrary loan is also available again.
To protect the health of everyone, strict safety regulations must still be observed. Therefore, during the Corona pandemic, special provisions apply if you wish to use library services. The most important rules are:
Ordering and picking up
Order books you need in advance via the OPAC to the branch library of your choice. At present, you do not have access to reading room shelves. Allow for 3–5 working days to have your books ready for collection.
Returning and media reclaims
Returning borrowed media is also possible again in all branch libraries, regardless of where you originally check them out. Our courier service takes care of the transport to the respective branch library. We will resume fee-based media reclaims on 13 July 2020.
