On Monday, 10 January 2022, our Branch Library Sport and Health Sciences will reopen its doors in the new faculty building on the TUM Campus in the Olympiapark. After 10 years of construction, it is returning from its interim quarters on Georg-Brauchle-Ring to its original location at Connollystraße.
The bright, modern library space is located in the west of the new building across from the student canteen and offer a wide view over the outdoor sports facilities. The library can be reached from the main entrance via the central access axis. In the future, visitors awaits a reading room with height-adjustable study desks, six individual study rooms (so-called carrels), two group study rooms as well as a lecture and a scanner room.
Not all work has been completed yet, and not all rooms are accessible due to the pandemic, but loan services, ordering via OPAC, textbook collection, course reserves, interlibrary loan and scanners are already available. Due to the work still in progress, there may be some noise disturbances on site. We ask for your understanding.
