In the field of architectural design, we have licensed a new database:
Building Types Online.
The database provides exemplary solutions for various design tasks and supports research on design and building theory. One major focus of the database is on housing and residental buildings. Further categories include schools, kindergartens, office buildings, museums, sacral buildings, libraries, research and industrial complexes.
Each building is presented with a wide array of technical drawings, plus reference photographs of the exterior and interior as well as expert analyses. Also included are plan views, vector-based drawings available for download and thematic essays on key aspects of each building type including links to relevant case studies.

The database is available via proxy configuration (on-campus) or via eAccess (off-campus and WLAN). Please note the access information and the terms of use for our licensed databases.
