The roof of the physics library was extensively renovated in a seven-month construction period. The work has now been completed; no further impairments are to be expected. Among other things, the roof has been newly insulated and thus contributes to improving the indoor climate and energy efficiency in all seasons.
The Branch Library Physics in Garching offers 116 reading places, four bookable group study rooms and eight carrels.
