We support the campaign "WEITER WISSEN. Mit uns." (CONTINUE TO KNOW. With us.) of the German Library Association (Deutschen Bibliotheksverbands, dbv). It aims to highlight the social relevance of academic and research libraries, their diverse tasks, and their functions as a prerequisite for high-quality science.
The tasks of academic and research libraries include not only central literature and information provision for research, teaching, and studying but also areas such as Open Access, research data management, cultural heritage, digital long-term archiving, as well as research and development.
At TUM, we offer you various science-promoting consulting and infrastructure services, including e.g.
Our course program includes additional training on publishing and research data management. We also offer courses on copyright and licenses, bibliometrics, reference management, and citation.
