- Group study rooms are available for groups of three or more. Functional rooms can be used by individuals.
- These rooms can only be reserved by TUM students.
- Reservations can be made through the online booking tool provided by the company "anny".
- Reservations for group study or functional room is possible no more than 7 days in advance.
- The maximum duration of a reservation is 4 hours.
- Each person can make a maximum of 2 reservations per calendar week for each branch library.
- At the branch libraries Main Campus and Sport & Health Sciences, bookings must be confirmed at on-site check-in stations upon starting the reservation.
- Reservations will be void if the group or individual fails to check in within the first 30 minutes of the reservation time.
- When temporarily leaving the group study room, a clock disc to indicate the break time must be used.
- In-progress reservations will expire in the case of an absence of more than 60 minutes or if no clock disc is used.
- Rooms cannot be used for regularly occurring events.
- Reservations cannot be transferred or made on behalf of third parties.
- Rooms must be left in good order.
- The University Library recommends not leaving valuables unattended in the group study rooms during breaks. The University Library assumes no liability for the loss or damage to personal belongings.
- Any damage to group study or functional rooms must be reported immediately to the University Library by completing the damage report form available at the circulation desk. The user must pay compensation for damaged rooms, determined at the University Library's reasonable discretion, along with an administration fee.
- The University Library is only be liable equipment-related consequences caused intentionally or by gross negligence on its part. In the event of gross negligence, the University Library's liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for equipment use and excluded for indirect and consequential damage. The foregoing limitations of liability do not apply in the event of injury to life, limb, or health.
- University Library house rules apply in all group study and functional rooms.
