Maintenance Work at LRZ Web Hosting

Library Website Temporarily Unavailable on 12 May 2026

On Tuesday, 12 May 2026, the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ) will carry out maintenance work in the area of web hosting. The work will take place between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. During this period, websites on the web hosting platform will be unavailable for about half an hour.

Affected:
Our website ub.tum.de will be unavailable for about half an hour. In addition, some other websites of TUM and the Munich Scientific Network will also be briefly offline.

Public Holidays in May

Opening Hours on Ascension Day and Pentecost

On Ascension Day, 14 May 2026, and Pentecost Monday, 25 May 2026, special opening hours apply to our branch libraries and our First Level Hotline.

The following branch libraries will be open on public holidays:

Main Campus: 9.00 – 22.00
Mathematics & Informatics: 10.00 – 20.00
Weihenstephan: 10.00 – 20.00

All other branch libraries and the First Level Hotline will be closed on these public holidays.

From 6 to 8 May 2026, maiTUM, the May Festival of TUM's Student Representation, will take place in the Main Campus courtyard. The Branch Library Main Campus will therefore close already at 8:00 p.m. on all three days.

Mathematics & Informatics	10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Life Sciences	10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

All other branch libraries and the First Level Hotline are closed on public holidays.
