IT System Update

Limited Library Services on 21.02.2013

On Thursday, February 21, 2013 presumably until 11.00 a.m. we will update database content in our library IT system. Therefore, our library services will be limited in all branch libraries:

no Online Catalogue OPAC
no book orders
no lending srevices
no interlibrary loan
no documenTUM

Book returns will be possible. The opening hours of our branch libraries will not be affected.

Some branch libraries will close earlier

Opening Hours on Carnival Tuesday 2013

On Carnival Tuesday, February 12, 2013 working hours are limited until 12.00 noon. However, almost all TUM Branch Libraries will be open at regular hours.

Branch Libraries with regular opening hours:

Munich: Branch Library Main Campus and Branch Library Medicine
Garching: Branch Library Chemistry, Branch Library Mechanical Engineering, Branch Library Mathematics & Informatics
Freising: Branch Library Life Sciences

Closed in the afternoon:

The Branch Libraries Sports Science, Social Sciences and Renewable Resources will close already at 12.00 noon.

From 12.00 noon on not available:

paying overdue fees in cash
picking-up poster and buying tutorial scripts (LRZ Service Point in the Branch Library Main Campus)
