Replacement for Crossfire Beilstein, Gmelin and Patent Chemistry Database

Reaxys database licensed

The Reaxys database is replacing the Crossfire Beilstein database which has ceased publication by the end of 2010. Reaxys comprises among others the databases Crossfire Beilstein and Crossfire Gmelin. We subscribed to Reaxys for two years initially.

TUM members can access Reaxys via eAccess. Please log in with your TUM ID: Start Reaxys via e-Access

Alternatively, it is possible to log in via Shibboleth or at a desktop PC within the TUM-LAN with proxy configuration.

Annual IT System Maintenance 2010

Limited Library Services on 03.01.2011

Due to the annual IT system maintenance our library services will be limited on Monday, January 3, 2011. On this day lending services, book orders, interlibrary loan, documenTUM and the online catalogue will not be available. However, book returns will be possible. There will be no overdue fines on this day.

Apart from this, our Branch Libraries Main Campus in Munich, Mechanical Engineering in Garching and Life Sciences in Weihenstephan will be open vom 10.00 - 15.00. Please note the special opening hours of our branch libraries during the holiday season (14.12.2010 - 09.01.2011).
