The International Association of University Libraries (IATUL) is organizing a seminar on "Research Skills and Information Literacy in the Workplace" from December 3 - 5, 2018 in cooperation with the University Library of the TUM.
Information literacy in the workplace is a relatively new and increasingly important area of research in library science. Many libraries offer information literacy programmes in order to help students find, access and use literature for their studies and final papers. But to what extent does instruction in information literacy help people in their future employment? The seminar with presentations in German and English addresses this question.
