Count-down for the Branch Library Social Sciences

On Friday, April 26, 2013, the Branch Library Social Sciences will open its doors for the last time. Thereafter, the library holdings will be relocated to the Branch Library Main Campus. In the course of April, the TUM School of Education Chairs located at the Lothstrasse will also move to the new faculty building at the Marsstrasse (further information on the faculty website). Please note, during the relocation phase library services will be limited:

Starting April 10, it is no longer possible to request books from other TUM branch libraries to the Social Sciences Library.
Book orders from the Social Sciences Library to any other TUM branch library are possible until April 25.

Once the moving operation is complete, the collection will again be available for loan at the Branch Library Main Campus.

Relocation of Books from the Branch Library Social Sciences to the Main Campus already completed

The relocation of books from the Branch Library Social Sciences to the main campus is completed - faster than we thought first. This means:

The Branch Library Social Sciences will offer regular opening hours on Monday, 18.02.2013
and there will be no further noise due to the relocation in the Branch Library Main Campus.

Branch Library Social Sciences is Moving

In the course of the year our Branch Library Social Sciences will be moving to the TUM Main Campus. The first part of the relocation will take place mid-February: February 13 - 18, 2013. The branch library will be closed on these days.

Before and on the relocation days (11. - 18.02.2013) some noise might occur at the Branch Library Main Campus. We are relocating books in the collection area on the 2nd floor. The entrance area as well as the 1st floor and the mezzanine floor of the library will not be affected. During the relocation Branch Library Main Campus offers its regular opening hours.
