With the beginning of the examination period, we are expanding our services: There will be more study desks for TUM members available again in all branch libraries. If you want to study in the library, you must reserve a place in the branch library of your choice at least one day in advance.
Due to distancing rules and restrictions for group sizes in closed spaces, the places available are still limited. Out of consideration for your fellow students, please do not book more than three reservation slots per week and cancel your reservation if you do not need the booked place after all.
Free Places at Short Notice
From 3 August, we will re-allocated study desks not taken or not reserved 30 minutes after the start of the reservation period. Please ask at the circulation desk for free places immediately available.
Library Collections and Facilities
Currently, you cannot pick up library items from the reading room shelves yourself. Please order literature at least 3 opening days (from and to Straubing 5 days) in advance via OPAC. Not yet available are scanners, library computers, lockers, carrels, and group study rooms.
The University Library continuously adapts its services to the current situation of the Corona Pandemic. To protect the health of everyone, it is still necessary to comply with infection control regulations and safety requirements. Therefore, special library rules apply, especially with regard to mouth-and-nose covering and distancing rules.
Please inform yourself about current developments and regulations in detail before you visit the library.
