Zugang zu Nautos

With the Nautos database we offer you comprehensive search options for standards, VDI guidelines and other technical rules. It replaces the previous platform Perinorm. Nautos is available:

  • via remote access with eAccess and your TUM ID:
    Start Nautos via eAccess

  • at your TUM workstation with corresponding proxy configuration:
    Start Nautos within the TUM-LAN

  • at the library computers in all branch libraries:
    Start Nautos on library computers

Nautos offers:

  • Search options for two million national, European and international standards and technical regulations.
  • Full text access to current DIN standards and VDI guidelines. This also applies to draft standards, pre-standards, supplement sheets and withdrawn DIN standards.
  • Full text access to current ISO standards.

DIN Standards

In the Nautos database, you can search for DIN standards and view all currently valid and withdrawn DIN standards in full text.

  • Reproduction (by downloading, copying, scanning or printing) is permitted only for internal university, non-commercial purposes (science, research and teaching).
  • The reproduction of DIN standards for training purposes at the TUM is permitted, but copies must be marked with the TUM stamp and collected after the lecture.
  • It is permitted to make DIN standards available in digital course reserves if you mark them with a TUM stamp. To do so, please print them, mark them with the TUM stamp and scan them again for uploading on Moodle.
  • Any unauthorised reproduction, disclosure to third parties, or systematic downloading carries a mandatory fine for infringement and is punishable by law.

Terms of Use for External Library Patrons

  • Should you need a DIN Standard in printed form, please contact your local bookseller or the publishers at Beuth-Verlag.

DIN VDE Standards

You can search for DIN VDE standards in the database Normenbibliothek of the VDE publishing house. You have full text access to all VDE regulations, including drafts as well as withdrawn and historical VDE regulations.

For licensing reasons it is not possible to download files.

In addition, we also offer the Nautos database to search national and international standards. Here you will also find bibliographic information on DIN VDE standards, but no links to their full texts. Please use the VDE Standards Library for this purpose.
