The Technical University of Munich (TUM) supports its researchers through numerous publisher agreements, enabling them to publish research findings in Open Access. Over the past months, many existing Publish & Read agreements have been successfully renewed, including those with publishers such as Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, IEEE, ACS, Taylor & Francis, Sage, and Oxford University Press.

As a TUM member, you benefit from Publish & Read agreements with leading publishers and academic societies. These agreements enable you to publish your research findings Open Access – at no personal cost. The publication fees are covered by TUM, funded by the TUM Board of Management, the University Library, and the TUM Schools. Starting in 2025, the budget will also be supplemented by DFG funding secured for Open Access publishing.
