Enjoy a quiet space to focus and get things done – our study carrels offer the perfect environment for concentrated work. Whether you’re conducting in-depth research, studying for exams, or writing your thesis, these individual study cubicles provide the calm and focus you need. Starting 1 November 2025, TUM members can reserve study carrels online.
It’s that simple: Log in to the reservation system with your TUM ID, choose a suitable study carrel, check in before your reservation starts — and the study carrel is yours for one week.
Online Reservation & Terms of Use
Booking conditions:
- The minimum booking period is one week, starting on Monday.
- Each person has an annual quota of eight weeks.
- During your booking period, you have exclusive use of the carrel. However, if you are absent, other users may temporarily use it. Please note that the doors cannot be locked.
