Individuals and non-TUM Staff
Your library card expires after one year. In order to re-activate the library card, please come to one of our branch libraries, present your ID card or passport in addition to proof of residence in Germany ("Meldebescheinigung").
TUM Staff
Your library card expires as soon as your employment relationship with the TUM ends. Thereafter, you may register as an individual.
TUM Students
You can use the StudentCard as your library card as long as you are enrolled at the TUM. Thereafter, you may register as an individual.
