If for any reason you are unable to return items on time, we are legally obligated to suspend your borrowing rights temporarily and to charge you for media reclaim costs. The amount is determined by law ("Bayerisches Kostengesetz").
Please contact us immediately after receiving a reclaim request und return the library items without delay. Otherwise, you risk receiving further reclaim notices, which will cause you increasing costs.

Media Reclaim Procedure for TUM Employees
If you, as a TUM empolyee, overlook the return of library items on time, we will send you return request notices without charges. To avoid costs for your school, please return the overdue items within the next few days at one of our branch libraries.
If repeated return requests are ignored, we will initiate the replacement of the library items. The acquisition costs will then be charged to your school.
