With the following set of requirements, we are able to ensure the quality of our journals and contribute to a sound Open Access practice.
Our requirements
- The subject of the journal must be within the TUM's disciplinary scope.
- The main editor and contractual partner is a professor at TUM.
- Co-editors must have at least the status of doctoral candidates.
- Editors must agree to adhere to good scientific practices according to the TUM statutes.
- Diamond Open Access only (no costs for readers and authors)
- Quality control through an editorial board and peer review process
- Appointment of a journal manager
- Operation of a journal website
- Compliance with the formal requirements of TUM.University Press
- Publication of at least 5 articles per year
