Since January 2024, TUM members have access to an extended range of e-journals at the University Library. The portfolio comprises a total of around 150,000 scientific journal titles.
New additions include almost all journals from the following publishers:
- Elsevier, including the brands Cell Press and The Lancet
- Springer Nature, including the Nature portfolio
- Oxford University Press
- American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), including proceedings
Furthermore, journals from over 250 publishers such as the American Chemical Society (ACS), Emerald, IEEE, Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), Sage, Taylor & Francis, and Wiley continue to be part of the University Library's collection.

Open Access for TUM members
TUM is optimizing its infrastructure in information provision and publication services to support studying, teaching, and research. The Board of Management, the University Library, and the TUM Schools have jointly created the financial basis for participating in Publish & Read contracts, as well as nationwide DEAL agreements negotiated with major commercial publishers.
