During the Holiday Season from December 24, 2011 thru January 8, 2012, special opening hours apply for all TUM branch libraries. On January 9, 2012 we will return in all branch libraries to regular opening hours.

However, our Branch Libraries Chemistry, Mathematics & Informatics, Main Campus, Renewable Resources and Life Sciences will be open for you on selected days. Please, note the holiday opening hours of all branch libraries in detail.

During the Holiday Season from December 24, 2012 to January 6, 2013, special opening hours apply for all TUM branch libraries:

Open on selected days are:

Branch Library Chemistry, Branch Library Mechanical Engineering, Branch Library Mathematics & Informatics,
Branch Library Main Campus, Branch Library Life Sciences and Branch Library Renewable Resources

Closed are:

Branch Library Medicine, Branch Library Social Sciences and Branch Library Sport Science

On January 7, 2013 we will return in all branch libraries to regular opening hours.

The "good old encyclopaedia" is still around and is always and everywhere available online.

Are you familiar with our electronic reference books? The University Library provides access to a variety of encyclopaedias from different areas. They offer profound information with extensive bibliographies and cross references, composed by renowned scientists.

You find our reference books on the Online Catalogue OPAC, e.g. Encyclopedia of Ecology, Encyclopedia of Grain Science, Encyclopedia of Soils in the Environment or International Encyclopedia of Education. Electronic reference books and e-books are available to you on-campus via proxy configuration or to all TUM members off-campus via eAccess.

On Thursday, October 18, 2012, the TUM student council organises its semester opening party „Meine erste Uniparty“.

Due to this event the Branch Library Main Campus will close already at 8.00 p.m.
