More space, more possibilities: The first floor of the Branch Library Mathematics & Informatics now offers additional study spaces, group rooms, and – new this semester – Webinar Carrels. Whether you’re working quietly on your own, collaborating in a group, or joining a webinar – there’s a suitable space for every learning situation. The entire area have been fully renovated and newly equipped. It is now accessible through the library, and most rooms can be reserved online.
Webinar Carrels – Speak freely
Online lectures, video conference presentations, or remote job interviews? Need to actively participate in a webinar while studying in the library – and actually be able to speak out loud? Our twelve soundproofed Webinar Carrels provide the perfect setting. TUM students can reserve them starting 15 April 2025.

Group Study Rooms – Teamwork in Action
Looking for a space to brainstorm, present, or study as a team? Our group study rooms for three or more people can be easily booked online. They're are available in seven branch libraries – including two new rooms in the freshly renovated study area on the first floor of the Branch Library Mathematics & Informatics.
