Digital Provision of Literature

dokumenTUM - We deliver literature electronically

Do you need journal articles or books from our library collections? For TUM members (students and staff), we reopen dokumenTUM, our internal electronic delivery service, starting 20 April 2020.

Order required journal articles and parts from books that are in our library stock. We will take care of the scanning and send you PDF files by e-mail.

The service is free of charge and available to all TUM members.

Support for Online Teaching

Scan Service for Digital Course Reserves

TUM lecturers can add a digital course reserve to their Moodle courses. For book chapters and journal articles that are not available online, the University Library will scan for you.

To do so, search in our online catalogue for the desired materials. With a mouse click you can transfer the data to Moodle. We take care of the scanning. The scans will automatically be provided in Moodle and will then be accessible for you and the students of your course.

Corona Protection Measures

bibs vs. virus – Extended Access to Electronic Resources

Many publishers are offering temporary access to their e-books, e-journals and databases due to the corona crisis. Some make their complete program freely available, others offer expanded access with an existing license or make parts of their publications related to Covid-19 accessible.

Since these are time-limited access options, you will not find these e-media via our OPAC, but on the page bibs vs. virus. Please log in via eAccess with your TUM ID.
